Pierce County GOP Goes Web 2.0

Posted By Jeff Becker on April 11, 2009

Who says Republicans are old and starchy?  They haven’t met us.

Today marks the launch of the new Web site of the Republican Party of Pierce County, Washington.  A site that brings our party into the world of Internet social networking.

Features like blogging, social networking, events calendar and secure donations give us the dynamic, interactive communication that we need to bring real change for the better to our community.

And with links to and from popular Web sites Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and many others we’ll be able to spread the word far and wide about what we really stand for and believe.

No more will we allow the mainstream media to define who we are.

We have found our voice!

    Defining who we are:
We will see the face of Pierce County Republicans and the cross section of the party! We are not all the same as the media would try to paint us out to be. The media would have you think you are alone and out of step. I believe there is going to be a big eye opening movement and encourage you to be a part! We are as diverse as America. We value our country’s foundation, principles, liberties and the strength of the American individual spirit that has built our strong country. I want that to remain solid for my children and future generations. With our voice, the opportunities that we have had won’t be squandered for future generations.
