A Great Loss:

It is my sorrowful duty to relate the loss of Representative Tom Campbell’s beloved brother Robert B. Campbell at 9:45 PM, May 18th, 2009 in Vaughn, WA.   Robert Campbell was 59 years old and died as a result of pancreatic cancer.

MSG Robert B. Campbell was a Master Parachutist, Pathfinder, Green Beret and above all a Ranger.  Tom served with his brother in the US Special Forces, not only as brothers, but also as comrades in arms.  Representative Campbell and his brother Robert also went through Life Chiropractic College together.  “He was the best soldier, an inspiration for me, there is no better man” says Rep. Campbell about his brother.  “He will be painfully missed, until we meet again.”

Robert B. Campbell is survived by his wife Bonnie, his daughter’s Christina and Jessica, his son’s Charles and Michael and two grandchildren.  He will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery with military honors and tradition observed.

A Memorial Service celebrating Robert B. Campbell’s life will be held:

Thursday, May 28th, 2009 at 6:00 PM at A New Beginning Family Christian Center, 810 S. W. Wildwood Rd, Port Orchard,  WA 98367   Phone: 360-874-8404

A benefit is being planned June 7th, 2009 at The Civic Center in Vaughn, WA to help the family defray medical expenses.
