Gabriel Sachwitz calls Anderson Island home with his wife, Claudia and their ten-year-old son. Sachwitz, was raised by his single mother in Minnesota. He learned the meaning of work ethic at the young age of 12 when he started to help with family bills by working at a family friend’s farm.

Dave Reichert’s record of service to others began in 1971 when he joined the Air Force Reserves’ 939th Military Airlift Command.

Loujanna “LJ” Rohrer is a twice elected School Board Director in the Steilacoom Historical School District. During her service on the School Board of the Steilacoom Historical School District, she has demonstrated continual commitment to academic excellence and the SHSD board and district has been recognized for numerous awards and state accomplishments. Currently, LJ works at the Washington State House of Representatives as a senior legislative assistant focusing on state policy and constituent issues.

I grew up in Washington State near SeaTac Airport where I developed a deep love for our state and airplanes. I also felt a calling to serve.

Born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba, Raul Garcia, was able to escape Castro’s communist regime with his mother at the age of 11. They immigrated to Madrid, Spain, where the Catholic Church helped the two refugees obtain political asylum into the United States.
